In addition to the Stylus Tough TG-3, the Japanese firm also launched super-zoom point-and-shoot camera dubbed as the Olympus SH-1. First implemented on the OM-D E-M5, the 5-axis IS, in theory, lessens blurry shots usually caused by shaky hands during handheld shooting. With the sweltering humidity we’ve all been experiencing, there’s no trace of doubt that summertime is in full swing, and if you’re looking for a rugged camera that you can bring on you upcoming trip, then Olympus might have the right snapper for the job – the Stylus Tough TG-3. It also has built-in Wi-Fi and GPS which are something we’ve come to expect from any modern digital camera. What it does is that it lets the camera to take 8 sequential photos in different depths (from foreground to background) and combine those snap into one image. In this day and age where digital SLR are the craze and the entry-level units are becoming cheaper, people are starting to drop the point-and-shoot and move up. Our poll for this week is -- which point-and-shoot camera are you still using? Despite owning a dSLR, I'm looking at a range finder camera for rugged use (more likely for underwater shooting).
