Qualcomm will raise the prices of its processors starting September 1, 2026, a move that could increase production costs for Android smartphone makers and lead to higher device prices. The dates were confirmed through Qualcomm's official Instagram account. While Qualcomm has not officially confirmed the products that will be unveiled during the summit, the Snapdragon Summit has traditionally served as the company's stage for introducing its flagship mobile platforms. Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm's first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing.
