Qualcomm has officially introduced the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, a major leap forward for its mid-range 5G lineup and the successor to last year’s 6s Gen 3.

This time, the chip is built on a 4nm process node, a first for the 6s series, bringing up to 36% faster CPU and 59% improved GPU performance over its predecessor. The new SoC packs four Cortex-A720 performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores at 1.8GHz. It also supports Snapdragon Elite Gaming features like Variable Rate Shading and Game Quick Touch for smoother gameplay.
Camera support goes up to 200MP, with 2K HDR video recording, while display capabilities reach FHD+ at 144Hz. Connectivity gets a boost with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 5G modem offering up to 2.9Gbps download speeds.
Expected to debut in upcoming Xiaomi, OPPO, and moto phones, the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 aims to bring flagship-level efficiency to the mid-range segment.
