The Quezon City LGU has announced an online portal for the processing of business permits applications. Dubbed as the Biz Easy Online Unified Business Permit Application System (OUBPAS), the online portal aims to put ease for businesses and entrepreneurs to operate in Quezon City. 2019 that orders the creation of Task Force for Ease of Doing Business and Automation in Quezon City. Once the clearance is processed by said departments, the client may pay at various business centers all over Quezon City. “We are optimistic that this change in the way we process and issue permits will help us gain the trust of entrepreneurs to do business in the city,” Quezon City Mayor, Joy Belmonte, shared. The latest online portal also aims to limit face-to-face interactions between citizens and city hall employees while observing strict social distancing protocol. Along with the launch of QC: Biz Easy was the inauguration of the newly-improved Business-One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) which streamlines payments and other transactions for the city’s close to 86,000 businesses.
