Quora, a question-and-answer website, has disclosed that they have discovered a breach in on of their systems, putting the data of up to 100 million users at risk. Quora, on Friday, discovered that a third party gained unauthorized access to one of their systems. User data of approximately 100 million Quora users may have been compromised like account information which includes the name, email address, encrypted (hashed) password, and data imported from linked networks when authorized by users. Quora is still investigating the breach and is working with a leading digital forensics and security firm. In the meantime, they are notifying users whose data has been compromised, logged out Quora users, and invalidated the passwords of those who have been affected.
