The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has revealed the arrival of the trains for the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) Project by December 2021. The NSCR is a joint project of the DOTr and the Philippine National Railways (PNR). The PNR Clark Phase 1 Project is a 38-kilometer railway that runs from Tutuban Station in Manila through Caloocan, Valenzuela, and the municipalities of Meycuayan, Marilao, Bocaue, Balagtas, Guiguinto and ends at Malolos, Bulacan. The overall project covers 147 kilometers that traverses from Clark, Pampanga (Region 3) to Calamba, Laguna (Region 4)—a single, seamless railway system composed of three segments.
