Razer and Visa announced that they are partnering up to bring Visa payments to Razer Pay e-wallet. Razer's financial department, Razer Fintech, and Visa will be collaborating to develop an exclusive Razer-branded Visa prepaid payment solution via a mini-app embedded into Razer Pay. With this partnership, Razer Pay users will soon be able to make payments wherever Visa is accepted. Users will also enjoy benefits and rewards whenever they use prepaid cards for their transactions and purchases overseas. The integrated prepaid card will also offer the same existing services in Razer Pay. Razer and Visa are expecting to roll out the virtual prepaid card first in Southeast Asia before expanding globally. Several companies, including GCash, Visa, and Mastercard, have shown interest in the Philippine government’s plan to create a single fare payment system for trains and other transport. Aside from GCash, Visa, and Mastercard, other companies like Siemens Mobility, Hitachi Asia, LG CNS, and Cubic Transportation Systems also joined a market study held in Singapore.
