Good news for Survival Horror genre fans as Resident Evil 0,1, and 4 will be coming to Nintendo Switch this May 2019. Nintendo has announced that they will port Capcom's Resident Evil games to the Switch console very soon. To give you an idea, the Resident Evil 0 was released after the Resident Evil: Code Veronica. In the whole RE timeline, it is basically the start of the game's storyline while the main Resident Evil game which was Capcom's first ever game release that continuous the former's plot. European consumers will get the games as three separate digital downloads through Nintendo eShop while North American customers will be able to purchase the Resident Evil Origins Collections which comprises of Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 1. The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch in the Philippines on June 26, 2025, aligning with its release in other Southeast Asian markets like Singapore and Thailand .
