Next is the Ryzen 7 7840HS (8 core/16 thread) at 3.80 GHz base and 5.10 GHz boost. Lastly, the Ryzen 5 7640HS (6-core/12-thread), with 4.30 GHz base, 5.00 GHz boost, and 38MB total cache. A month after the announcement of the Ryzen 7 desktop processors, AMD has announced their newest series of processors designed for gamers and creators - the Ryzen 5.
