#S Plus Review

Here we have the Gionee S Plus, an AMOLED-touting Android smartphone packed with a 3GB of RAM and has a Type-C port. Design and Construction The build of the S Plus is a combination of polycarbonate and glass. Sharpening can be a bit harsh, but distant texts are readable when reviewing. Indoor performance is a different story as the S Plus struggles with a slow shutter to compensate for the dim scenarios. Wirelessly, there’s nothing fancy about the S Plus, but when it comes to wired connection, it’s ahead of the crop. The USB on the S Plus is a Type-C port which is the latest design for USBs and it eliminates the hassle of inserting on the wrong side since it’s a reversible port.
