A lot of people, including us, were expecting some news about the latest Samsung tri-fold device at yesterday's Unpacked event. Well, we've finally got some news from Samsung themselves. Samsung Electronics President TM Roh has once again confirmed the arrival of the upcoming tri-fold Samsung device within the year. Some would argue that even regular foldables (if you can call them that) have only really hit their stride now, in terms of minimizing the compromises compared to a conventional slab phone. Other industry speculation suggests that this Samsung Tri-fold will only be launched in two or three markets as an experiment.
