After all the battery issues that rattled the reputation of the tech giant last year, Samsung has officially launched the refurbished version of the Galaxy Note 7, dubbed the Galaxy Note Fan Edition (FE). The Galaxy FE will have the same UX as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and will include the Bixby assistant software. Included in it also is the 'Samsung Pass'. Samsung also noted that their 3,200mAh batteries are further enhanced and have passed new safety measures implemented following the recall. However, only 400, 000 units will be released in its home country, South Korea. The Galaxy FE will be released on July 7 and will come in 4 different colors. Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book 6 Edge, its first laptop powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. The Galaxy Book 6 Edge comes with a 16-inch anti-reflective AMOLED screen, 1TB of storage and 16GB RAM, and Samsung is putting a big spotlight on what it calls its AI stuff, plus it claims as much as 22 hours of battery life, depending on use. It also leans into Samsung ecosystem features like Storage Share, Multi Control, Second Screen, and Nearby Devices, so it’s meant to stay pretty smooth with Galaxy phones and tablets for a kind of seamless connection.
