Samsung has just launched the Galaxy Quantum 5, Exclusive variant of the Galaxy A55, for the South Korean market in collaboration with SK Telecom and ID Quantique. The main highlight of the Galaxy Quantum 5 is its Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) chip from ID Quantique, which enhances security for online banking and sensitive data. This new chip sets the Quantum 5 apart from the standard Galaxy A55, by providing an extra layer of security that’s particularly valuable for protecting biometrics and passwords data. Well, Aside from its enhanced security, the Galaxy Quantum 5 shares many features with the Galaxy A55. Now In terms of camera modules, the Galaxy Quantum 5 is equipped with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 32MP selfie front-facing camera, all can record 4K videos at 30fps. The Galaxy Quantum 5 packs a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging. Currently, the Galaxy Quantum 5 is available exclusively in South Korea through SK Telecom, priced at KRW 618,200 (approximately PHP 26,300). Samsung announced that a joint study with Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital in Korea found that the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 can predict vasovagal syncope (VVS) or sudden fainting episodes using health data collected by the smartwatch.
