Samsung has announced a new ultra-slim image sensor designed to be used on smartphones with full-screen displays, the ISOCELL Slim 3T2. The 0.8?m-pixel ISOCELL Slim 3T2 is the industry's most compact image sensor at 1/3.4 inches with 20MP resolution. In addition to high clarity and detail, it also boasts high color fidelity by adopting Samsung’s ISOCELL Plus technology. The Samsung ISOCELL Slim 3T2 is expected to be in mass production in the first quarter of this year.
