Recently, there were reports that say Samsung will double OLED supply for the iPhone 9. Also, the two big tech companies have sealed a two-year deal for the production and supply of $9 billion worth of OLED display panels back in April 2017. With this, Apple is expected to start shipping all of its iPhone units with OLED displays next year and Samsung could end up shipping as many as 180 million OLED panels to Apple for 2018. Samsung would likely spend as much as $21 billion dollars to build two new plants for creating OLED displays and would produce 270,000 panels per month. ASUS unveils the ROG Xbox Ally X20 Edition at COMPUTEX 2026, introducing an upgraded OLED display and TMR joysticks for its gaming handheld lineup. The device features a 7.4-inch ROG Nebula HDR OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium Pro, Dolby Vision, and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness. The Ferrari Luce will feature a new cockpit design using custom Samsung OLED displays, combining digital screens with physical moving parts to create a more layered dashboard experience. Designed by former Apple design chief Sir Jony Ive through his company LoveFrom, the Ferrari Luce will use multiple Samsung-made OLED displays across different parts of the vehicle.
