The Ferrari Luce will feature a new cockpit design using custom Samsung OLED displays, combining digital screens with physical moving parts to create a more layered dashboard experience. Designed by former Apple design chief Sir Jony Ive through his company LoveFrom, the Ferrari Luce will use multiple Samsung-made OLED displays across different parts of the vehicle. One of its key features is Samsung’s Hole In Active Area (HIAA) technology, which allows physical parts to pass through the display itself. The driver’s instrument cluster uses two stacked OLED panels. Samsung says these holes are much larger than what is normally used on smartphone displays. The center control panel uses a 10.1-inch OLED display with configurable functions such as a clock, stopwatch, and compass.
