Xiaomi, in partnership with Samsung, has announced that it will develop Redmi's first 64MP camera smartphone along with a teaser that shows a 108MP phone is on the way as well. Xiaomi will be using the 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 camera sensor in its upcoming Redmi smartphone. The ISOCELL GW1 is composed of a 1/1.7-inch sensor with a 0.8?m pixel size. To achieve the said image result, this sensor uses a 4-in-1 pixel binning. The company didn't state what kind of sensor they will be using; however, it is most likely that it will be another Samsung ISOCELL sensor.
