Samsung and Google announced a new line of AI-powered smart glasses. Created in partnership with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, the glasses work as a companion device for smartphones. Samsung says the smart glasses are designed to offer hands-free access to AI while blending in with familiar eyewear styles. Well, it looks like Samsung is ready to come up with a competitor through the release of the Galaxy Glasses later this year. The Galaxy Glasses will run Samsung's in-house One UI XR. The hardware will officially hit select brick-and-mortar Smart Stores nationwide later this week, where non-subscribers can also purchase the glasses as a standalone retail item.
