Samsung and Google have revealed new AI-powered intelligent eyewear at Google I/O 2026.

Samsung and Google announced a new line of AI-powered smart glasses.

Created in partnership with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, the glasses work as a companion device for smartphones. Google Gemini can be used for voice-based assistance.

Users can ask for navigation, receive text summaries, translate conversations and signs in real time, add calendar events and take photos without pulling out their phones.

Samsung says the smart glasses are designed to offer hands-free access to AI while blending in with familiar eyewear styles.

“With this new AI form factor, we are further expanding the Galaxy device ecosystem, where each device is optimized to deliver unique AI experiences that best fit each form,” said Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics.

The first collections are scheduled to launch in select markets in fall 2026. Pricing and exact availability have yet to be announced.
