Meta is reportedly preparing to launch new Ray-Ban smart glasses designed for people who wear prescription lenses, according to recent reports. While current Ray-Ban smart glasses already allow prescription lenses, these new versions are said to be built specifically for that purpose. The devices are expected to be sold through regular eyewear stores, making them easier to access for people who already buy prescription glasses. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg earlier said that many people already wear glasses and that AI glasses could become common in the future. A new Android app called Nearby Glasses alerts users if someone nearby may be wearing smart glasses that can record video.
