Google has introduced new AI-powered pointer features that let users interact with Google Gemini more naturally.

Instead of typing detailed prompts, users can point to text, images or other content on the screen and ask Gemini to perform tasks.
For example, it can summarize a PDF, compare products on a webpage or create a chart from a table.
Google says these features are designed to help users stay in their workflow without switching to a separate AI window.
The new pointer capabilities are now being added to Google Chrome. The Magic Pointer will also be available on the upcoming Googlebook laptops. Availability details for Googlebook devices have yet to be announced.
