Samsung has announced their 0.65mm-thin LPDDR5X DRAM made for smartphones. The chip itself is 9% thinner than its predecessor, with Samsung estimating that it will offer cooling improvements at 21%. Samsung is also planning to develop a 6-layer 24GB and 8-layer 32GB configurations into thinner alternatives for future devices. Samsung also teams up with third-party providers to bring in extra services like classroom management platforms, AI-powered learning tools, and teacher training programs, depending on what the district wants and where. Samsung has this thing with slider phones so all the 3 new ones are just that.
