According to Samsung, the new high-density UFS memory module offers speeds that are nearly twice as fast as a SATA SSD for PCs. Samsung has announced the development of UFS 5.0. The brand states that UFS 5.0 is the industry's fastest Universal Flash Storage solution for mobile devices. This is more than double the performance of Samsung's previous UFS 4.1 solution. Samsung also claims UFS 5.0 is more than 40% more power efficient than UFS 4.1. The much awaited Omnia i900 from Samsung (see specs here) was released in the Philippines yesterday.
