Sharp says the panel can reach up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness, making it the brightest display ever used on an Aquos smartphone. The Aquos R11 is also built for durability, featuring Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and MIL-STD-810G/810H certifications. The Sharp Aquos R11 will go on sale in Japan in early July through Sharp, NTT DoCoMo, and SoftBank.
