#Shopee GCash payment options

Starting April 30, 2023, Shopee will no longer accept GGives & GCredit as payment options. Regular GCash payments will remain in Shopee while GGives and GCredit will remain available at other GCash partner stores. According to GCash's FAQ portal, previous purchases in Shopee using GCredit and GGives will still be valid and active. For those who wish to receive a refund for any pending or canceled order purchased using GGives or GCredit on Shopee, GCash recommends contacting Shopee’s customer service for refunds regarding canceled or unsuccessful orders. Commuters using the EDSA Busway can now pay their fares using GCash, as cashless payments have officially been rolled out across selected busway units. GCash SoundPay, a portable QR payment device, was first introduced in 2024 to support micro, small, and medium enterprises. The rollout of GCash payments and website upgrades is already in effect starting Friday. GCash, Globe's own micropayment service, gives its reloadable prepaid card a needed upgrade.
