The known messaging and collaboration tool Slack announced in their blog a price increase for their Pro plan and big changes to their Free Plan. Starting this September, the Pro plan of Slack will have a price increase from USD 8.00 to USD 8.75 per user per month and an annual Pro subscription from USD 6.67 to USD7.25 per user per month. Slack clarified this will only affect people using the Pro plan worldwide and not the Business Plus and custom enterprise plans. While those on their Monthly Pro plan are advised to switch to the annual Pro plan so they can still use the USD6.67 per user per month rate for a year before September 1st.
