Smart Communications has expanded the availability of its Smart Home WiFi Postpaid service to more than 100 Smart Stores nationwide. Smart Home WiFi Postpaid comes in two plans: Home Plan 1499 which includes unlimited 5G data and a free modem and Home Plan 999 that offers 200GB of 5G data, a daily 2GB bonus, data rollover and a one-time PHP 995 modem fee. A new poster ad from Smart Bro promotes their broadband speed to be up to 2Mbps. I fired up several internet bandwidth meters, hooked up my Smart Bro Prepaid account and positioned my laptop to get an HSDPA signal. It's finally here, Smart Bro is now offering unlimited 3G access for a monthly flat rate of just Php1,500. Smart Bro Plan 1500 Unlimited Initial Payment: Php1,500 (includes USB modem dongle) MSF: Php1,500 Smart Bro Plan 799 60 hours free (Php13.3/hour and Php10 per 30 mins. in excess of 60 hours) Initial Payment: Php799 (includes USB modem dongle) MSF: Php799 Smart Bro Prepaid Php10 per 30 minutes Php2,500 one-tme fe for the USB modem dongle The original Plan 799 has also been revised with an additional 20 hours free connection time. It didn't take that long for Smart to follow the way of Sun Cellular Broadband.
