A reader sent an email last night asking why Smart Bro's Fixed Wireless Plan 999 has been downgraded to just 1Mbps from 2Mbps starting June 1, 2011. Smart Bro's Plan 999 used to be 2Mbps so to make it "fair" across the board, they've also made it 1Mbps. Starlink has announced yet another price increase for their most subscribed plans, with the Residential Plan jumping from Php3,800/month to Php4,099 while the Unlimited Roaming Plan is now at Php5,999 from Php4,017. Last Saturday, I signed up for the unlimited Plan 999 of SmartBro Share It. There were two main reasons why I got SmartBro Share It: I already have PLDT myDSL Plan 1999 at home and have been using it for 5 years now.
