#Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1

Powering the unit is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU (4x2.1 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) and Adreno 610 GPU.   The OPPO A5 Pro 4G has an 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with options for 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage, expandable via microSD. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 (yes, that’s the official name) which is an updated version of the Snapdragon 662 from 2020. Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processors. Both chipsets introduce Snapdragon Smooth Motion UI. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 includes AI-powered camera features, Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 for gaming, up to 21% better GPU performanc, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and ultra-fast 5G connectivity. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 can deliver up to 77% better GPU performance and supports 90FPS gameplay which is a first for the first time in the Snapdragon 4 series. According to Qualcomm, upcoming devices powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 will come from brands including HONOR and REDMI. Meanwhile, smartphones using Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 are expected from OPPO, realme and REDMI.
