#Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 launch

has just introduced its latest premium 5G mobile platform, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It is equipped with the 4th gen Snapdragon X65 5G Modem-RF System. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will be adopted by global OEMs and brands including Black Shark, Honor, iQOO, Motorola, Nubia, OnePlus, OPPO, Realme, Redmi, SHARP, Sony Corporation, vivo, Xiaomi, and ZTE, with commercial devices expected by the end of 2021. OnePlus officially unveiled the OnePlus Pad 4 in India, carrying Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device operates on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which supports a maximum of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage capacity to provide users with flagship-level performance. Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processors. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 includes AI-powered camera features, Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 for gaming, up to 21% better GPU performanc, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and ultra-fast 5G connectivity. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 can deliver up to 77% better GPU performance and supports 90FPS gameplay which is a first for the first time in the Snapdragon 4 series.
