Could it be a preparation for the release of a Sony bezel-less phone for IFA? According to a posting on Weibo, Sony might indeed release a truly bezel-less phone. Clearly this makes sense since JDI is owned by Sony, Toshiba, and Hitachi. In addition to that, the new JDI panel allow users to navigate the screen with wet hands, which is a crucial feature considering that Sony has been employing an IP68 rating on its latest high end models. Sony has officially introduced the new Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION, a premium addition to its well-known 1000X headphone lineup, as the company celebrates 10 years of the series. The new headphones focus on refined design, premium materials, improved comfort, and immersive sound quality while retaining the flagship noise-cancelling technology found in the acclaimed Sony WH-1000XM6. The headphones feature a metal headband with matte sandblasted textures and polished accents, paired with specially developed faux leather that Sony says took two years to perfect.
