As its name implies, the Sony PS3 Super Slim (289.56 x 229.87 x 59.44mm) is the slimmer version of the PS3 Slim (289.56 x 289.56 x 64.77mm) from 2010. Of the three, the 250GB model of the PlayStation3 Super Slim will be the first to be made available for public consumption. Sony has announced that it will gradually shut down the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and PlayStation Vita (PS Vita). Sony has announced in their blog post that they are shutting down the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita and PS3. According to Sony, the closure is necessary due to the PS3 and PS Vita platforms can no longer support the modern payment processing and commerce systems used by the PlayStation Store.
