Sony Philippines quietly released the Xperia Xa Ultra last week. The design is characteristically very similar to the C5 Ultra and the new Xperia XA (read our review here) but with a more polished finish. The Sony Xperia XA Ultra is now in stores with a suggested retail price of Php21,290 and available in either black, white and gold colors. Sony has confirmed that it will launch the Xperia 1 VIII on May 13 at 11:00 AM JST. While details on design and cameras remain scarce, Sony is expected to debut the Xperia 1 VIII in mid-2026, roughly following the Xperia 1 VII’s June release schedule.
