#Sony Xperia software update

Good news for those who own older Xperia devices as Sony has started to roll out the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update. If you have an Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, or an Xperia Z5 Premium, you can expect a notification for an update to the latest version of Android anytime soon. Not only the Xperia Z5 family is reported to receive the new software as the update for Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet is also live. Sony has confirmed that it will launch the Xperia 1 VIII on May 13 at 11:00 AM JST.
