Sony Mobile has officially announced their new flagship phones, the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL. The Xperia Z is the flagship handset has a 5-inch 1080p LED display, packing a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5GHz processor and Adreno 320 graphics with 2GB RAM. Sporting a 2300mAh battery, the Xperia Z will have all the standard connectivity -- WiFi, HSPA+, LTE, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. The Xperia Z is IP5/IP7 certified giving it dust and water resistance. The Xperia ZL will have the same specs but will be a bit more compact. We will be going to Singapore next week to attend the Xperia regional launch there on the 14th to 16th. Previously known as the Xperia Yuga and the Xperia Odin, these two new flagship handsets have been prematurely unveiled in a photo release. The two are now known as the Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL.
