YouTube has officially launched YouTube Shopping in the Philippines, further expanding its partnership with Shopee in Southeast Asia. The rollout is part of YouTube’s broader push into video commerce, which has seen massive growth in Southeast Asia—video shopping accounted for 20% of the region’s e-commerce GMV in 2024, quadrupling since 2022. “Southeast Asia is shaping the future of shopping with its deeply engaged video-first audience and vibrant creator community,” said Sapna Chadha, VP for Google Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier. Editor’s Note: YouTube Shopping is now available in six Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. HONOR Philippines won 24 awards at the HONOR Southeast Asia Summit 2026, recognizing its performance, growth, and impact in the region. The event gathered leaders and partners from across Southeast Asia to review progress and honor top-performing markets. The awards were presented by George Zheng, CEO of HONOR Southeast Asia. Infinix and MOONTON Games have expanded their partnership to support Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports tournaments across Southeast Asia, bringing more events and community programs to the region.
