Ookla Speedtest has released their Ookla Speedtest Awards, citing PLDT as the fastest fixed network and Smart as the fastest mobile network in the Philippines. SKY is second with a Speed Score of 10.89, followed by Smart Bro with 9.79, and Globe with 6.58. Globe, on the other hand, got a score of 9.93. According to Ookla Speedtest, the Speed Score incorporates a measure of each provider's download and upload speed to rank network speed performance. So it's not a surprise that Globe Telecom has dropped its Globe Visibility Mobile Prepaid kit down to just Php3,500. Globe started offering their new prepaid and postpaid plans for Visibility back in June 23 when we first reported it here.
