The SpinQ Gemini Mini has been unveiled at the Quantum Information, Science, & Technology Conference (QISTCon) held this year. Google has renamed NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook, expanding its reach across the Gemini app and Google Search. Google is also bringing notebooks directly into the Gemini app, with full cross-app syncing between the two platforms. While Gemini Notebook remains a standalone research tool, Google is rolling out an update that gives every notebook a secure cloud computer, allowing it to write and execute code natively for more accurate data analysis. Google says active users of the Gemini app in Southeast Asia more than doubled over the past year. That number comes from the first Gemini Report: Southeast Asia 2026, released July 14.
