The Spotify Automix feature (in beta) has begun rolling out to Premium accounts in the Philippines. In addition, Spotify allows collaborative mixed playlists, letting multiple users try the feature out. There’s also no word yet on when Automix will exit beta, but we’ll keep readers posted on further updates. Spotify is making it easier for everyone to listen to podcasts thanks to the help of AI. But with the use of AI, Spotify will now be able to translate the podcast into your native language. Spotify says the AI voice will match the original speaker’s style of speaking, “making for a more authentic listening experience”. “We believe that a thoughtful approach to AI can help build deeper connections between listeners and creators, a key component of Spotify’s mission to unlock the potential of human creativity.” Spotify says voice-translated episodes from pilot creators will be available worldwide to Premium and Free users. Spotify has just announced yesterday, June 20, that its monthly active user base has sailed past the 100 million mark for the first time, up from 75 million a few months ago.
