In an update to the what we've posted a few days ago about SteelSeries PH warning consumers of unauthorized resellers, popular gaming store Datablitz has issued a statement through one of its comments on their facebook page regarding the issue. Datablitz stated that they are offering full one-year warranty for all their SteelSeries products, and not 7 days as our source from the previous article originally reported. RELATED: Lessons we can learn from the DataBlitz vs XPlay Fiasco Despite the clarification, Back2Gaming updated their story and strongly points out that a SteelSeries PH representative reiterated that DataBlitz is not an authorized retailer. In a recent post on their official Facebook fan page, SteelSeries Philippines has reiterated their current warranty policies for their products and “highly suggests” that customers should only buy from authorized resellers to take full advantage of it. The Facebook post was in line with reports from various DataBlitz customers who only received a 7-day warranty for the SteelSeries product/s that they’ve purchased from the said reseller.
