This will be just the first of many planned expansion of the stored-value card's acceptance in different stores outside the train stations in Metro Manila. At last, another improvement of service for the growing unified ticketing system as Beep card users can now top up their stored value cards through additional channels. Since last month, you can already top up your stored value card in select Bayad Center branches located near the train stations. The discounted fare matrix, implemented by the Department of Transportation (DOTr), applies to single-journey tickets, stored-value cards, and cashless payments starting March 23.
