Commuters can now access the 50% fare discount on MRT-3 using GCash, as part of the government’s push to ease transportation costs amid rising prices. The discounted fare matrix, implemented by the Department of Transportation (DOTr), applies to single-journey tickets, stored-value cards, and cashless payments starting March 23.
