Telegram has launched a dedicated app for Wear OS smartwatches, bringing full chat access, voice messages, and chat management tools directly to users' wrists. The announcement comes days after Telegram introduced a native app for the Apple Watch. The new Wear OS app also marks Telegram's return to Google's smartwatch platform after removing its previous Wear OS app from the Play Store in 2021. With the new app, users can browse and scroll through their full conversations without needing to take out their smartphone. Telegram says the app can also display shared content such as photos, videos, and location previews directly on compatible smartwatches. Telegram has also added support for stickers, allowing users to send them within chat threads. Beyond messaging features, the app includes several conversation management tools. The launch expands Telegram's support for wearable devices and gives Wear OS users another way to stay connected without relying entirely on their phones.
