Canva has now made available to its 100 million users its new image-generating app, Text to Image. Text to Image allows users to turn their imagination into reality by simply inputting words and having them transform into one-of-a-kind images. Canva's Text to Image app was initially introduced back in September with its Beta version. Text to Image is said to not combine existing images but rather create entirely new ones from scratch. This would eliminate the need of spending hours looking at existing stock images for a specific or unique photo you need. It is also said that Text to Image can also generate art in a different range of styles such as photos, drawings, paintings, 3D, patterns, and concept art. Designer integrated with AI-generated art The software comes with AI-generated imagery that can 'instantly' come up with a variety of designs thanks to its integration of the text-to-image model DALL-E 2 by OpenAI. "Simply type in a description of something, any additional context like location or activity, and an art style, and Image Creator will make it for you," the blog read.
