Apple is set to release the slimmest iPhone ever, the 17 Air, in the second half of this year. This is all well and good, but making something more portable inevitably comes with some compromises - battery being one of the most affected. Well, here are the battery specifications for the iPhone 17 Air. Measuring just Apple iPhone 17 Air is set to come with a 2,800 mAh battery installed. This is nearly half from the 4,685 mAh battery found in the iPhone 16 Pro Max. We're wishing for the capacity to be at least within the 3,100 mAh range to maintain the same ratio, but perhaps clever wizardry and AI/software optimization by Apple can offset this stark difference in capacity. Despite these facts, it goes without saying that the Apple iPhone 17 Air will be the thinnest iPhone ever. Even the compact iPhone 6 Plus from back in the day came in at 7.1mm (and the base 6 was still 6.9mm) with a capacity of 2,915 mAh.
