Hybrid cars have been slowly being rolled out in the Philippines, and one of the pioneers in bringing that technology into the country is Toyota. We got our chance to play around with their newest addition to their hybrid line of cars, the 2021 Toyota Camry Hybrid which has a bolder design, a 4-cylinder engine, new safety features, and of course, hybrid technology. Toyota has just introduced the latest model to its Hybrid Electric Vehicle lineup, the 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid. “A favorite among customers worldwide, the Toyota Camry is well-loved for its powerful elegance that comes with quality, durability, and reliability. The new 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid comes in Platinum White Pearl Mica, Metal Stream Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, with prices starting at PHP 2,335,000. As part of Toyota Motor Corp's recall of 6.39 million vehicles worldwide, Toyota Motor Philippines is recalling Innova, Fortuner, and Hilux units sold in the country from November 2004 to June 2010. There are, however, no incidents reported related to this condition." To address the problem, Toyota Motor Philippines launched its "Special Service Campaign" to have the faulty parts replaced free of charge. "In line with Toyota’s firm commitment on product safety and quality, Toyota Motor Philippines will issue a Special Service Campaign (SSC) on the affected models.
