Toyota Motor Philippines recently launched in the Philippines the Toyota GR Yaris, a new sports car developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR), the company's performance development arm. According to Toyota, the Toyota GR Yaris was built first as a motorsports vehicle then developed as a road vehicle. For safety, the GR Yaris is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense features (Pre-Collision System, Automatic High Beam, Lane Trace Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control), 6 SRS airbags, Anti-lock Brake System, Vehicle Stability Control, and Hill-start Assist Control. Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has announced the soon-arrival of the GR Yaris in the country. Following the recent launch of the Toyota Vios GR-S and the announcement of Gazoo Racing Vios Cup and GR GT Cup's return, TMP has also revealed that the GR Yaris is coming to the Philippines. Tracing its origin from the World Rally Championship (WRC), the GR Yaris is developed under TOYOTA GAZOO Racing and built through motorsport experience.
