Twitter began rolling out auto-generated captions for videos. On Android and iOS, auto-captions will show on muted Tweet videos. Take note that the newly uploaded videos will include auto-captions. Old uploaded videos that don’t have captions still won’t have them. [embed]https://twitter.com/TwitterSupport/status/1470868616207818759?s=20[/embed] However, for now, users can't report inaccurate or bad captions, a Twitter spokesperson tells The Verge, though saying, “we’re always looking at ways to improve our accessibility features.” Sources: Twitter, The Verge Following the momentary outage in several social networking sites including Facebook and Instagram, Twitter has announced two new additional features on their service, namely Video Recording on the mobile app, as well as Group Messaging which works for both the desktop and mobile versions of Twitter, and on TweetDeck. First teased by Twitter CEO as “whisper mode” back in May, the new Group Messaging function allows twitter users to invite their followers, regardless if they’re following each other or not, in a more intimate conversation that will be limited to the invited members of a certain group. The other recently-added feature allows users to finally record videos straight out of the social media with the help of the mobile phone’s camera.
