Unihertz has opened a Kickstarter for their newest Jelly phone: the Jelly Star - a transparent 3-inch smartphone with an LED light back. The Unihertz Jelly Star has a 3.03-inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass. The battery capacity of the Jelly star is 2000mAh. The Unihertz Jelly Star's price starts at HKD 1,329 in the company's Kickstarter page. Unihertz is bringing a new addition to its Jelly Series, the Unihertz Jelly Max, which the company is touting as the ‘smallest 5G smartphone’. This is quite a jump from the Unihertz Jelly Star that only measured 3-inches diagonally. Related reports claim that the Jelly Max has yet to secure various certifications needed for them to legally sell the phone in certain markets. It was just recent when Google has handed the Jelly bean source code to the developers and we’re already seeing the AOSP version of the buttery OS being ported to various devices.
