VAIO has just announced a new laptop called the SX12. Powered by up to Intel 8th Gen quad-core i7 processors, the VAIO SX12 features a screen measuring at 12.5 inches, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. The VAIO SX12 has a starting price of JPY 119,800 (~PHP 56,475) and will go on sale in Japan, this week. VAIO has just announced a special edition of its existing notebook to appeal to car lovers. The VAIO Z Mercedes-Benz Collection is a special edition notebook with a Mercedes Benz logo engraved on its hinge and touchpad, the name of the car maker above the keyboard, and an image of a Mercedes-Benz car, either the Vision Tokyo concept car or a classic 300SL, on the lid. It has a unique hinge design which basically makes it the VAIO Z Flip that was announced last year. Since its formal separation from Sony, VAIO has been quietly making a comeback. The VAIO Phone Biz is made out of silver-finished aluminum that shouts premium.
